Follow Friday| Jasmine Star

Now what kind of person would I be if I didn’t do a #FF for Jasmine Star, the inspiration behind my choice of photographing weddings?

One of the reasons I love her blog so much is because it’s not just filled with beautiful imagery; she tells stories, she teaches, she answers questions, and she kinda makes me laugh a lot.

I got to meet her once! lol (Yes, that memory calls for an LOL). It was interesting. I was pretty speechless (which is abnormal for me), and you can read about it here.

As we all know by now, the following are just a  few of my favorite photos.

The above photo is from one of my all time favorite J* engagement sessions. It was soo difficult to narrow my choice down to just one!

Follow Friday| Rosie Hardy

This week, my #FF goes out to Rosie Hardy. She’s a photographer from England, and I absolutely fell in love with her work!! Wilson is actually the one who found her website for me; he knows me well enough to save these things. ;) Her work is so very inspiring. She didn’t go to school for it (though I hear she’s recently been accepted to a prestigious art school!!); you can see the talent she has. A lot of her work is self portraits. That she can take pictures of herself and turn them into gorgeous artwork is amazing to me. Not to mention that she actually carries on a conversation!!

Follow Friday| Lindsay Marie Photography

This week, I am introducing you to Lindsay Hoover of Lindsay Marie Photography.

The reason I’m listing Lindsay as my newest Follow Friday is because I’ve recently gotten to know her in person (we’ve been FB friends for quite some time now) and she’s just awesome. No, really. She is. =) She invited me along to second shoot a wedding with her earlier in March, and we had coffee (ok, she had a self invented latte (?) and I had Pepsi…) and we spent about an hour just talking. I got to know her a bit better, and I’m really glad we finally met. She’s funny, and I like hanging out with her. And if you’ve clicked on the link above, then you already know she’s a really awesome photographer. This was the second time I’ve gotten to shoot ‘with’ another photographer, and she didn’t disappoint.

And so we come to another installment of Follow Friday. This week I’ve decided to introduce you all to Natalia and Sammy Cosa of Closer to Love Photography.

The way they use the light in their photos is just stunning. I love every single one of these, and there are so many more!! Not to mention, they love keeping you updated on what’s going on. She’s a photographer in the So Cal area. I wanna say I’ve known her about a year now. She’s a great girl, and overflowing with talent. She’s come so far since I’ve first seen her work, and she is has gotten great! I mean, c’mon. Check her out for yourself.

So begins the first of a new weekly installment: Follow Friday. Every Friday, I will post about someone who I really enjoy following, be it blogger, photographer, Twitterer, or FaceBook friend. For week 1, I introduce the lovely:

Belinda Love of Belinda Love Photography

Belinda is a photographer I found through another photographer’s blog, probably about 9 months ago. I actually have no idea how long I’ve been cyber-friends with this super cool chick, but I know it hasn’t been a year yet. =) She’s such a lovely person, and I can’t wait to have the chance to meet her, and yes, even shoot with her. She’s a great gal, and an awesome photographer. Her style is very open, bright; radiant, I’d even say. I love the feel and emotion in her photographs.
