“There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.”-Earnst Haas
So recently I was having a conversation with someone, and she gave me an amazing idea for how to improve my photography: 52 weeks of self portraits. It is great! I’m so excited, I let her know I was going to steal this idea, and here I am documenting this journey with you!
*NOTE: My portraits are a bit different than what you would think of as portraits. I posted this picture on my Twitter and a gentleman commented on the fact that portraits should be pictures of your face. My response was as follows: a portrait should show a person’s soul, personality, or just some piece of them. If that means face, yea..my case? Not always! 🙂
So my goal here is, by the end of the year, for all my readers and fellow Tweeps to know me just a little bit better, just by the pictures I have taken! Feel free to leave me lots of feedback, constructive criticism, and portrait ideas! Looking forward to your comments on my pictures!
